Chronic pain

When you live with an autoimmune disease, waking up feeling great isn’t something that happens every day. In my case, the pain is chronic and constant. Even with anti-inflammatory or pain-relief medication, it may lessen but it never fully goes away.
I don’t have a miracle cure to offer, but I can share what I do to make my days a little more manageable.
Here are a few examples:
Morning movement—like walking or dancing—helps keep my joints somewhat flexible.
Stretching and moving throughout the day, especially after long periods of inactivity.
Using essential oils known for their anti-inflammatory properties.
Maintaining a balanced and nourishing diet.
Practicing intermittent fasting.
To be honest, I often stray from these habits. I simply try to do my best to maintain some balance. What matters most is listening to your body and knowing your limits.
Don’t compare yourself to others, live in the moment and be grateful for what you do have.
You’re here and that’s what counts. You are not alone. Surround yourself with loved ones, and consider joining support groups with people who understand what you’re going through.
